For outdoor cooking, an independent supply of food is essential. The double-walled and cavity-insulated Petromax cooler guarantees reliable support. The Petromax kx series coolers keep ice chilled for up to 12 days. The ultra-passive cooling system requires no electricity or other energy sources and is powered only by standard ice, cold packs or dry ice. With a capacity of 50 l, the kx50 also offers sufficient storage space.
A major advantage is that the internal dimensions are designed to allow either 70 x 0.33 l cans or, optionally, up to 20 x 1 l bottles to be transported upright.

Strong format

With a minimum 45 mm thick insulating layer, a constant temperature for the preservation of food and beverages is guaranteed. Furthermore, the PE body is so robustly constructed that the kx50 can also be used as a raised stand or comfortable seat. Thanks to its cuboid shape, it is also easy to stack and stow away. The integrated drainage system allows melt water to be drained off without any problems, which makes it easy to refill ice during operation and to clean it afterwards.

Up to any challenge

Strap guides provided on the lid of the cooler make it easy to transport on a boat or truck bed. The ergonomic carrying handles attached to the sides serve for optimal handling and guarantee comfortable carrying even when the cooler is fully filled. At the same time, the handles can be used as lashing points - so the cooler can also be safely filled during transport. Two resilient rubber latches make it possible to open and close the cooler even with wet fingers or one-handed. In addition, the contents can be protected from unauthorized access with a U-lock via the reinforced locking plates. Four feet provide stability even on slippery surfaces and also ensure constant air circulation on the underside.

Correct use of the cooler

- Cool down the cooler before use in a cold room or with ice
- Only fill with pre-cooled drinks and food
- At best, use large, contiguous blocks of ice
- Always place dry ice, cold packs or ice on top, as cold sinks to the bottom
- Open deliberately and sparingly
- When on the road, store the box in a cool, shady place and avoid direct sunlight
- Store and transport upright
