A pleasure on all heat sources
The stainless steel percolator can be used flexibly on different heat sources. Hung by the sturdy handle over the campfire or in the embers of the outdoor kitchen, it can be used just as well as on the home stove (electric or gas).
The principle for unique taste
In the Perkomax percolator there is a removable stainless steel construction consisting of a tube and a sieve with a perforated lid. Coffee or tea is poured into the strainer as desired. When the water in the pot is brought to a boil, it rises through the tube and runs into the container with the beverage powder and then back into the pot. Here it mixes with the rest of the water and rises again in the tube. The more often the water circulates, the more intense the taste of the hot beverage becomes.
Special feature: the glass knob
With the stainless steel percolator, the percolation process can be observed through a glass knob on the lid. The Petromax stainless steel percolator is available in two sizes. The large version holds about 4.2 liters (about 28 cups) of pure coffee and tea.
