Despite the increased helmet surface, the uvex engineers have minimized the weight to a light 300 grams and also tweaked a sophisticated ventilation management. Because in hot conditions like on the Mediterranean trails in Finale Ligure, a cool head is not only pleasant, but a decisive factor for concentration and performance. The uvex finale therefore comes with twenty ventilation openings, which in conjunction with the 20 ventilation channels running inside ensure ideal air circulation.
The snug fit on the head can be precisely adjusted via the uvex anatomic IAS system. Because precision fit prevents slipping on fast downhills and is an important safety factor in the unintentional departure on the trail.
