The multifunctional cooking lid not only provides the top heat for the cake in the outdoor kitchen, but also has a cake base function when turned upside down. With the mold including the practical lid, Petromax expands the range of its cast iron products with another clever and at the same time timeless model.
Cast iron stands for quality at Petromax
Due to the excellent properties of cast iron and the special surface structure, heat is efficiently stored and transferred. The pre-treated surface (seasoned finish) makes initial baking unnecessary and the robust Gugelhupfform can be used immediately. Outdoors, the mold is heated at the campfire with wood or with charcoal and briquettes. This is also where the practical stainless steel carrying handle with notch for hanging comes in handy. The raised edge of the lid makes it possible to place embers or charcoal securely on the Gugelhupfform. This ensures that it is heated evenly from all sides. But the cast-iron mold also cuts a fine figure in the home oven.
Multifunctional and practical
Whether marble cake or fresh bread, with the Petromax Gugelhupfform baking succeeds without any problems. The lid with feet can be easily removed with the Petromax lid lifter. By the way, turned upside down, the cast iron lid is not only suitable for making cake layers, but also for hearty tartes and quiches, as well as a practical pan for outdoor cooking. In addition, it can be used as a rustic serving plate for finished pastries from the Gugelhupfform. After use, the mold is very easy to clean. For maintenance, Petromax care paste for cast and wrought iron is recommended.
