The Petromax silicone trivet is the lightweight and non-slip base for all Petromax fire pots, with and without feet. The flexible mat protects the base from hot fire pots, lids and pans. The lids up to ft9 lie in the grooves and thus do not slip. The food-safe silicone is temperature resistant from -40°C to 230°C: The high material resilience allows it to be used after cooking at high heat as well as for storage at cold winter camp. As a spacer between pot and lid, the silicone trivet ensures that air can circulate freely. If the trivet ever gets dirty, it can simply be cleaned with warm water or lying in the dishwasher. When rubbing the fire pot with the Petromax care paste for cast and wrought iron, the silicone coaster is the non-slip base.
Camping
On the road, it is a practical companion in the camping kitchen as a robust anti-slip base, e.g. as a strong tray for all hot fire pots that are to be put down when cooking on the campfire. During transport in the van, the silicone trivet between the fire pot and lid or under the cookware ensures low-vibration and non-slip transport. After use, the lightweight silicone trivet can be easily hung up.
