The stainless steel Perkomax is versatile and can be used on various cooking surfaces. Whether hung over a campfire by its sturdy handle or placed in the embers of an outdoor kitchen, it works just as well as on your home stove (electric or gas).
The secret to unique flavor
Inside the Perkomax percolator is a removable stainless steel assembly consisting of a small tube and a strainer with a perforated lid. Coffee or tea is added to the strainer container as desired. When the water in the pot is brought to a boil, it rises through the tube, flows into the container with the beverage powder, and then back into the pot. Here it mixes with the remaining water and rises again through the tube. The more frequently the water circulates, the more intense the flavor of the hot beverage becomes.

With the stainless steel percolator, the percolation process can be observed through a glass knob on the lid. The Petromax stainless steel percolator is available in two sizes. The small version holds about 2.1 liters (approx. 14 cups).
